Become a Part of Climbing History

John Gill on Fenton's Corner at the Hagermeister Boulders, early 1960s

Built around historic footage of John Gill, Jim Holloway, and other great
boulderers, The Disciples of Gill is a film project dedicated to tell the story of bouldering during the 1960s and 1970s and the impact those years have had on modern bouldering. Ament’s intention is to create a beautiful and tender memoir of America’s golden age of bouldering.

Disciples of Gill will preserve significant and important
footage of Gill, Holloway, and a few other great boulderers. The film will also presents a new, current
story with present-day interviews with such legends as Greg Lowe and Barry Bates.
It will be a beautiful work of art, apart from any of the above.

Pat Ament is one of the most creative individuals in the climbing
community and has finished the first of the Disciples of Gill films. He will premier the film at Neptune Mountaineering the 24th of November at 7pm.
